Cooked SausageFor those of us like a really good quality sausage, that is fully cooked and ready to eat, we feature:
- Robertson's Summer Sausage - a mixture of wholesome and nutritious beef and pork with a medium blend of special spices.
- Robertson's Polish Sausage - made from a blend of lean cuts of pork and beef and the finest natural spicy spices we can buy.
- Robertson's Beef Sausage - a really good, very lean, all beef sausage which is mildly seasoned.
For the best flavor we suggest all our cooked sausages be served at room temperature. Before slicing, rise the sausage stick or ring in warm water, dry, then remove the casing and slice.
Serve in lunch boxes, with cheese and crackers, a quick sandwich or dice for a chef salad.
Quick Supper meal: Dice cooked sausage into bite size pieces, pour 1/2 to 1 cup of barbecue sauce over the meat and heat in 350 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes. The Polish Sausage with its extra spice is greater for this dish.
A Party Pleasure: Take a loaf of French, unsliced and cut in half lengthwise. Layer slices of cooked sausage, smoked cheese, sliced purple onion and tomato on a bed of leaf lettuce. Replace the bread top, slice and serve with a mustard and mayonnaise blend dip on the side.
